Apple flavored ivermectin paste for horses.
What is Ivermectin?
A broad-spectrum dewormer for horses used to aid in the control of large & small strongyles, pinworms, lungworms, roundworms, bots and more. This gel formula treats up to 1250 lbs in body weight, kills internal parasites and helps control 46 species and stages of worms and bots.
What is ivermectin used for?
Aids in the Control of:
- large and small strongyles
- pinworms
- hairworms
- threadworms
- stomach worms
- lungworms
- roundworms
All horses should be included in a regular parasite control program with particular attention paid to mares, foals, and yearlings. Foals should be treated at 6-8 weeks of age and routine treatment repeated as needed. Consult a veterinarian for a control program to meet specific needs.
Dosing Instructions:
- One syringe contains enough paste to treat one 1250 lbs horse.
- Each weight marking on the plunger delivers enough paste to treat 250 lb weight.
- After determining your horse's weight, adjust the dial to the appropriate weight marking.
DO NOT UNDERDOSE: Ensure each animal receives a complete dose based on their current body weight. Underdosing may result in ineffective treatment, and encourage the development of parasite resistance.
Storage:
Store at 68°F-77°F (20°C-25°C). Excursions between 59°F- 86°F (15°C-30°C) are permitted.
Note: May be used in horses of all ages, including mares at any stage of pregnancy. Stallions may be treated without adversely affecting their fertility.
